Gestern berichteten die NachDenkSeiten über „Habecks Umlagen-Fiasko“ und sagten die heute angekündigte Verstaatlichung des Gasversorgers Uniper bereits voraus. Da die Verstaatlichung in der heutigen Pressekonferenz von Robert Habeck jedoch seltsam kommuniziert wurde, ist eine kurze Ergänzung nötig. Nach dem jetzigen Stand kostet die Verstaatlichung den Steuerzahler nämlich nicht die „etwa 500 Millionen“ Euro, die in diesem Kontext heute genannt werden und auch nicht inkl. neuer Kreditlinien 8,5 Milliarden Euro, wie es im Kleingedruckten heißt. Der Preis für den Steuerzahler beläuft sich vielmehr auf stolze 16,5 Milliarden Euro. Zählt man die bereits gegebene „alte“ KfW-Kreditlinie hinzu, sind es sogar 27,5 Milliarden Euro. Vor allem die Übernahme der Kredite des ehemaligen Uniper-Großaktionärs Fortum lässt Fragen offen.
