The U.S. ​military conducted ‌strikes against Iran on ​Friday, Central ​Command said in ⁠a ​statement, adding that ​U.S. aircraft struck Iranian missile ​and ​drone storage locations and ‌coastal ⁠radar sites after Tehran‘s attack ​on ​a ⁠commercial ship in ​the Strait ​of ⁠Hormuz.

US Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced that it has conducted strikes against Iran following Tehran’s attack on a commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.

“US aircraft struck Iranian missile and drone storage locations and coastal radar sites after Iran hit M/V Ever Lovely on June 25 with a one-way attack drone,” CENTCOM said in a post on X, adding that the “unwarranted aggression against commercial shipping by Iranian forces clearly violated the ceasefire.”

Netanyahu and Katz Threaten Iran; Vow to Remain in Lebanon, Syria and Gaza

Speaking at a graduation ceremony for Israeli combat officers, Netanyahu and Katz vowed not to withdraw from their “security zones” no matter what “pressures” Israel faces.

“We dominate southern Lebanon, from the summit of the Beaufort [castle], and we will remain as long as required in the security zone,” Netanyahu said. “We do not intend to withdraw from it.”

“The Israeli military will remain in the security zones in Lebanon, in Syria and in Gaza without any time limit,” Katz added.

Israel, Lebanon sign framework peace deal after US-mediated talks

„Today we‘ve taken the first step in what will be a difficult journey, without a doubt, but an important and an essential and a necessary one,“ US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said before the agreement was inked.

The officials did not provide details of the framework deal and did not say how its terms would differ from those included in a 16 April ceasefire deal that preceded several rounds of US-brokered Israel-Lebanon talks.
