Stop Persecuting Palestinian Rapper, Tamer Nafar
On Saturday, police in Haifa detained for questioning three Arab protesters who waved Palestinian flags and, on the same day, other police stopped a performance by the Palestinian rapper Tamer Nafar in the Christmas Market in the village of Kafr Yasif, claiming that his songs incite the state (See page 3).
These events are serious. They signal a change for the worse in the attitude, bad to begin with, toward the Palestinian minority, and they seem to be an attempt to criminalize Palestinian identity. The song that led police to stop Nafar’s show was “Salam Ya Sakhbi” – about violence in Arab society.
You are an Arab-Israeli? (hint: Barack Obama ist not an African. He is an Afro-American) You are thinking about not to vote today? Take this sad song and make it better. GO OUT NOW AND BOOT NETANYAHU! (share this video / thanks: Tamer Nafar)

I Can Barely Feel Israel‘s Democracy, but I‘m Still Going to Vote in Its Election
There are basically two regimes: a democratic regime for Jews and a fascist regime for Arabs; a democratic regime that promises someone like the racist rapper „The Shadow“ unlimited freedom of expression and makes a lawmaker like Hazan into a superstar of incitement.
Nor do we see the public or law enforcement get worked up when some Jews shamelessly permit our killing and literally define us as their slaves. Do I really need to explain how the state treats us?

Boycott Israel’s Election? A Palestinian Rapper Says No
(4.4.2019)
Frustrated over their choices in the Israeli election, and at Arab politicians whom they describe as ineffective, some Palestinian citizens of Israel have been gathering popular support for a boycott of Tuesday’s ballot.
But a well-known Palestinian hip-hop artist released a powerful new video on Thursday pushing back on the boycott, urging Arab citizens not to waste their votes — and expressing hope that a strong turnout on Tuesday could help send Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu packing, or even “to prison.”
