After my meeting on Monday with the Crown Prince, Ukrainian diplomatic and military representatives will stay for a meeting on Tuesday with the American team. The Ukrainian team will include Andriy Yermak, Andriy Sybiha, Rustem Umerov, and Pavlo Palisa,“ the president said on the X network on Saturday.

Zelenskyy also said a meeting of the diplomatic teams of Ukraine and the UK took place in Kyiv on Saturday.

US hostage envoy: Hamas offered to ‚lay down all weapons‘ for five to ten year truce

The US hostage envoy Adam Boehler has said that Hamas has suggested an exchange of prisoners and offered to ‚lay down all weapons‘ during a five to ten year truce, Israel‘s Channel 11 is reporting.

Boehler said that an „optimistic“ scenario would see Israeli captives released within „weeks“.

Trump selects Sean Curran, agent who protected him during Butler shooting, to lead Secret Service

In a post to his Truth Social platform, Mr. Trump said Curran is „a Great Patriot, who has protected my family over the past few years, and that is why I trust him to lead the Brave Men and Women of the United States Secret Service.“

Curran previously served as the special agent in charge of Trump‘s security detail for four years and sprung to cover him on stage during the first assassination attempt against him on July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Secret Service Shoots Armed Man Near the White House

On Saturday, the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington shared information with the Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies about a man named Andrew Dawson who may have been traveling to Washington from Indiana.

The law enforcement bulletin said that Mr. Dawson wanted to die by “suicide by cop” and was armed with a BB gun. His last known address was in North Manchester, Ind. The bulletin had a picture of a car that Mr. Dawson was driving.
