Federal Judge Orders Rhodes, Rice, & Other Obama Officials To Respond Over Clinton Benghazi/Email Scandal
Judicial Watch announced last night that United States District Judge Royce C. Lamberth ruled that discovery can begin in Hillary Clinton’s email scandal. Obama administration senior State Department officials, lawyers, and Clinton aides will now be deposed under oath. Senior officials – including Susan Rice, Ben Rhodes, Jacob Sullivan, and FBI official E.W. Priestap – will now have to answer Judicial Watch’s written questions under oath.
Venezuela‘s Maduro To Be Sworn at Top Court for 2nd Term
On Jan. 10, Maduro will assume his mandate as president for the 2019-2025 constitutional term, swearing his oath of office before the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), after his election on May 20, 2018.
In normal times, the oath of office is taken before the National Assembly (NA), but since that body remains in judicial contempt since 2016, it has no legal ability to perform its normal duties, explained president of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) Diosdado Cabello.

Die New York Times und die Washington Post veröffentlichten diese Woche Berichte über ein privates Treffen zwischen acht großen Technologie- und Social-Media-Konzernen und den amerikanischen Geheimdiensten, das letzten Monat stattfand. Dabei wurde über die gemeinsamen Zensurbestrebungen im Vorfeld der kommenden Zwischenwahlen im November 2018 diskutiert.
Das Treffen fand am 23. Mai im Hauptsitz von Facebook in Menlo Park (Kalifornien) statt. Unter den Teilnehmern waren Vertreter von Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Snap, Twitter und Oath, ein 2017 gegründetes Unternehmen, zu dem auch Yahoo und der Telekommunikationskonzern Verizon gehören, sowie Agenten des FBI und des Heimatschutzministeriums.
