(19.6.2014) Der nun vor kurzem angelaufene Export von Öl-Vorkommen aus dem irakischen Kurdistan – wie gesagt: ohne entsprechendes Bakschisch an die lieben Demokraten zu Bagdad – läuft über eine Ende 2013 fertiggestellte Pípeline von den Öl-Feldern Khurmalas (hier die Position von Khurmula zwischen Erbil und Kirkuk) hoch zur irakischen Grenzstadt Faysh Khabur (Fish khabur) am Dreiländereck zwischen Irak, Türkei und Syrien.

Wo genau die neue Pipeline verläuft, welches Konsortium sie gebaut hat und welches sie betreibt, darüber hüllten sich die Beteiligten in Schweigen.

Im Juni 2013 war bereits im Zuge einer „ersten Phase“ durch die Konsortien Genel Energy und Addax Petroleum die Pipeline zwischen Khurmala und den nordöstlich von Kirkuk gelegenen Ölfeldern von Taq Taq fertiggestellt worden. Genel Energy machte sich bereits, als „zweite Phase“ der Vernetzung der verschiedenen Öl-Felder im Irak, an die Fertigstellung der Khurmala-Faysh Khabur-Pipeline, mit deren operativen Betrieb zum damaligen Zeitpunkt für 2014 gerechnet wurde. Oryx Petroleum erwähnte die Fertigstellung der Khurmala-Faysh Khabur-Pipeline ausdrücklich in ihrem Jahresbericht 2013.

The Clinton Foundation has confirmed it accepted a $1 million gift from Qatar while Hillary Clinton was US secretary of state without informing the State Department, even though she had promised to let the agency review new or significantly increased support from foreign governments.

“We need to use our diplomatic and more traditional intelligence assets to bring pressure on the governments of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, which are providing clandestine financial and logistic support to Isil and other radical Sunni groups in the region,” Ms Clinton wrote.

Mr Assange noted the US government had never acknowledged governments of Middle East nations had financially supported Isis, instead arguing such support was isolated to “some rogue princes using their cut of the oil money to do whatever they like, although the government disapproves”, according to the WikiLeaks founder.
