The announcement came as reservists from the Israel Air Force’s elite Shaldag unit said they would stop volunteering for duty, citing “the anti-democratic regime coup” being advanced by the coalition.

They joined reservists from other Israel Defense Forces units, including the 8200 Intelligence Unit, the Medical Corps, operational units and cyberwarfare units, who said a day earlier that they would stop volunteering.
