The package addressed to former CIA Director John Brennan — which Business Insider has seen pictures of — misspelled his name as „Brenan“ and misidentified the TV network he contributes to.
It listed Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida as the sender but spelled her name as „Shultz“ and her home state as „Florids.“

Die zehn Pakete waren fast identisch, und als Absender war auf allen die Kongressabgeordnete Debbie Wasserman Schultz aus Florida angegeben, die ehemalige Vorsitzende des Nationalkomitees der Demokraten. Nicht bestätigten Medienberichten vom Donnerstag zufolge könnten die Pakete von Südflorida aus verschickt worden sein, wo Schultz die bekannteste politische Figur der Demokraten ist.
Jedes Paket enthielt eine Rohrbombe der gleichen plumpen Bauart, zum Teil nebst einer Hülle aus weißem Pulver, das offenbar harmlos war. Das FBI hat keine Details über den Auslösemechanismus veröffentlicht. Es bestätigte lediglich, dass kein Draht vorhanden war, um die Bombe zu zünden – was ohnehin offensichtlich war, da mehrere Pakete geöffnet worden waren, ohne dass es eine Explosion gegeben hätte.

“It’s a time of deep divisions, and we have to do everything we can to bring our country together,” she told a crowd of 200 donors.
But it’s worth noting how she talked about this election just 15 days ago.
“You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about,” she told CNN.
