appeal to the English speaking Greek population for testimonies
at the 21.11.2012, I have filed at the International Criminal Court (ICC) at The Hague a charge against unknown for the suspicion of a crime against humanity because of intentious and, at the same time, systematic and broad-scale damage to the health of the Greek population (art.7 par. 1 lit. k Roman Statute).
Everyone has the human right to the, for the respective person, highest attainable standard of physical and mental health (art. 12 UN Social Pact). In addition to that, the human right to health is protected for women by art. 12 of the UN women‘s rights convention (CEDAW) and for children by art. 24 UN childrens rights convention (CRC). Furthermore, children have to be protected, according to art. 19 CRC, against damages. As a result, the human right to health needs to be less affected by austerity measures than any other social human right.
The Internet Is a Surveillance State
Paula Broadwell, who had an affair with CIA director David Petraeus, similarly took extensive precautions to hide her identity. She never logged in to her anonymous e-mail service from her home network. Instead, she used hotel and other public networks when she e-mailed him. The FBI correlated hotel registration data from several different hotels — and hers was the common name.

Will giving the internet eyes and ears mean the end of privacy?
Corporations and governments are turning the internet into a colossal, always-on surveillance tool. Once passive objects are able to report what‘s happening, where is the power balance?
Strongbox and Aaron Swartz
Aaron Swartz was not yet a legend when, almost two years ago, I asked him to build an open-source, anonymous in-box. His achievements were real and varied, but the events that would come to define him to the public were still in his future: his federal criminal indictment; his leadership organizing against the censorious Stop Online Piracy Act; his suicide in a Brooklyn apartment. I knew him as a programmer and an activist, a member of a fairly small tribe with the skills to turn ideas into code—another word for action—and the sensibility to understand instantly what I was looking for: a slightly safer way for journalists and their anonymous sources to communicate.
Introducing Strongbox
This morning, The New Yorker launched Strongbox, an online place where people can send documents and messages to the magazine, and we, in turn, can offer them a reasonable amount of anonymity. It was put together by Aaron Swartz, who died in January, and Kevin Poulsen. Kevin explains some of the background in his own post, including Swartz’s role and his survivors’ feelings about the project. (
GERMANY AND THE RESCUE OF THE EURO
In a circular advice distributed to German embassies, the foreign minister, Guido Westerwelle, deplored the damage done to Germany’s image by the euro crisis, warning that stereotypes about the “ugly German” were being revived. He was not wrong. The European Central Bank and the European Union policy of enforced austerity, seen as directed by Berlin, is hugely unpopular in the ‘olive belt’ periphery of indebted Eurozone countries.
Italy on ‚razor‘s edge with EU‘, says Napolitano
Italian President Giorgio Napolitano has praised Italy‘s main political parties for making Premier Enrico Letta‘s left-right government possible but warned that elements in the political class have not realised the country is on the „razor‘s edge“.
Italy has ‚acute need‘ for institutional reform – president
Premier Enrico Letta has said institutional reforms to make Italy easier to govern are a priority for his left-right coalition government, which was sworn in last month to end Italy‘s two-month post-election political deadlock.

Pope‘s address to new Non Resident Ambassadors
While the income of a minority is increasing exponentially, that of the majority is crumbling. This imbalance results from ideologies which uphold the absolute autonomy of markets and financial speculation, and thus deny the right of control to States, which are themselves charged with providing for the common good. A new, invisible and at times virtual, tyranny is established, one which unilaterally and irremediably imposes its own laws and rules. Moreover, indebtedness and credit distance countries from their real economy and citizens from their real buying power. Added to this, as if it were needed, is widespread corruption and selfish fiscal evasion which have taken on worldwide dimensions. The will to power and of possession has become limitless.
Pope blast politicians, financiers who spurn ethics
„The will to power and of possession has become limitless,“ the pope told a group of ambassadors at the Vatican.
SNB Will Cap Franc as Long as Deflation Risks Persist
The Zurich-based SNB set a cap of 1.20 per euro on the franc in September 2011 to lessen the risk of deflation and a recession after investors pushed the Swiss currency close to parity with the euro.
ECB‘s Mersch sees 10-15 per cent euro zone deflation risk
(08.04.) „The risk of deflation is also not bigger than 10 to 15 percent, according to economic forecasts. It is not an immediate danger and we do not have to steer against it.“
Recession in eurozone is now the currency bloc’s longest, surpassing even 2008-2009 crisis
The European Union statistics office said Wednesday that nine of the 17 EU countries that use the euro are in recession, with France a notable addition to the list. Overall, the eurozone’s economy contracted for the sixth straight quarter, shrinking by 0.2 percent in the January-March period from the previous three months.
Crisis: France in recession, Germany on the edge
If Italy is in tears, Europe isn‘t laughing either: the shadow of recession lengthens once more over France, Germany has escaped a similar fate by a hair as the eurozone posted overall negative growth (-0.2%) for the fourth consecutive quarter: this is the alarming scenario that transpired from data released yesterday by Eurostat and national authorities.
Pro-Inflation Policies Show Signs of Helping Japanese Economy
(10.Mai 2013) For almost two decades, Japan’s economic fortunes have deteriorated, and little seemed to be done about it.
But in the last few months, the nation’s new prime minister, Shinzo Abe, has pushed policy makers and other officials to take bold steps to revive Japan, one of the world’s largest economies.

„We have created new idols,“ the Argentine pontiff told a group of ambassadors at the Vatican.

How GEMA Is (Still) The Worst ‚Collective Rights‘ Organization In The World
We‘ve discussed GEMA‘s antagonistic attitude towards, well, pretty much everyone other than itself. In addition to turning the German YouTube experience into a farcical collection of „Sorry“ faces and demanding fees for music it doesn‘t even control, GEMA has also been in the news due to its rollout of a „streamlined“ fee structure that threatens the existence Germany‘s underground club scene with unsustainable licensing rates.
Konjunkturpakete: Japans Radikalpolitik entfacht Wirtschaftsboom

1. Gelddrucken durch Banken gut
2. Gelddrucken für Banken besser
3. Gelddrucken für Staaten böse
4. Gelddrucken durch Staaten superböse
Das war´s. Hinzufügen könnte man folgende Unterkategorien:
3. Gelddrucken der Zentralbanken für Banken am Allerbesten. Weil: s.g.o.
4. Gelddrucken der Zentralbanken für Staaten böse. Weil: Staaten ohne Schulden könnten ja machen was sie wollen.
Eurozone crisis live: Japan‘s strong growth figures show Europe the way
Let’s not get carried away, but Abenomics seems to be getting off to a flying start. After the damp squib of an economic lift that came after the 2011 tsunami, the stimulus package put together by new prime minister Shinzo Abe could be generating the kind of feelgood factor Japan needs to end two decades of virtually zero growth.
The eurozone needs to look and learn.
If you are expecting fall of the yen to revive Japan‘s economy – think again
This was certainly the case in Britain, whose exporters of goods and services used a 24pc fall in the value of the pound in 2008 and 2009 to boost profits but to hold their export prices essentially unchanged.
Even worse, from the point of view of the Bank of England, which must have hoped cheap sterling would lead to economic recovery, British companies showed a strong tendency to do very little with the extra cash, piling up an additional $40bn in bank deposits between 2008 and 2012.
Japan’s Economy Growing at 3.5% Annualized Rate
Japan’s economy grew at a robust annualized pace of 3.5 percent in the first quarter, preliminary data showed, the first sign that the bold monetary and economic policies of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe were starting to bear fruit.
Napolitano without comments
In Republican Italy there’s a crime that is a throw back to the absolutism of monarchy and the figure of Louis XIV: publicly insulting the President of the Republic. ‚Article 278 of the criminal code says “Offence against the honour or the prestige of the President of the Republic. Anyone who offends the honour or the prestige of the President of the Republic is punished with imprisonment for a period of one to five years.”
