Turkey begins unannounced military drill on Kurdistan borders
Turkeyâs President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Sunday that he will meet with Iraqi Prime Haider al-Abadi in New York on the sidelines of the annual UN General Assembly meeting. He said that he believes the two leaders are on the same page as it comes to the protection the territorial integrity of Iraq.

âThe nuclear-related commitments undertaken by Iran under the JCPOA are being implemented,â UN International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Yukiya Amano told the opening of the Agencyâs annual General Conference in Vienna.

U.S. Halts Process of Returning Full Troop Control to S.Korea
As part of a road map, the two allies agreed in 2014 to create a new joint command, headed by a South Korean military officer and a U.S. subcommander, which will replace the Combined Forces Command when full operational control of Korean troops returns to Seoul. The new command would be similar in structure to CFC, which is headed by the U.S. Forces Korea commander, and take charge of its key wartime functions.
But the USFK has asked for talks about the new command to be halted, it emerged Sunday.

And that‘s a big part of our concern with SESTA — the Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act — a „for the children“ bill. With a name like that, it‘s difficult to oppose, because we‘re all in favor of stopping sex trafficking. But if you actually look at the bill with any understanding of how the internet works, you quickly realize that it will be tremendously counterproductive and would likely do a lot more to harm trafficking victims by making it much more risky for internet services to moderate their own sites, and to cooperate with law enforcement in nabbing sex traffickers using their platforms.

Russia and Iran, Saudi Arabiaâs main regional foe, back Syriaâs government, while Saudi Arabia supports Syrian rebels.
