those measures had been taken against them. They considered the measures as a punishment against them. A member of the association running a mosque in Aubervilliers (Paris region), which was searched on 16 November, said: “The search was very violent, for us it was a desecration, it hurt our feelings and it scared us […] The head of the mosque was also put in pre-charge detention afterwards…but no charges were pressed against any of us, there were no concrete elements. That’s the worst… If there were serious suspicions, they would have launched an investigation….but at the moment it’s like we’re being punished for nothing”.

Amnesty International interviewed many Muslims who believed that that the measures against them were motivated by their religious beliefs and practice.

(6.11.2014) Seit Jahrzehnten ist die Idee der Sozialdemokratie und des Sozialismus organisatorisch tot. Es gibt keine einzige Organisation in der Republik, die diese Werte und Idee nicht der paneuropäischen Ideologie geopfert hätte, welche nicht nur das Existenzrecht dieser Republik, sondern die von Dutzenden von Demokratien auf dem Kontinent in Frage stellt, diese über das Euro-Finanzsystem und die sogenannte „Europäische Union“ zersetzt, angreift und bereits teilweise entstaatlicht hat. Ziel ist, erklärtermaßen durch Ausnutzen der selbst erschaffenen Krise, die Errichtung eines „supereuropäischen“ Zentralstaates auf den Trümmern der Alten Welt. Wir wünschen viel Spaß bei diesem Versuch. Wir sehen „Europa“ dann die Wand runterlaufen und die Menschen und Demokratien Europas wieder aufatmen.

Überall in den Staaten auf dem Kontinent sind die Menschen angekotzt von den etablierten Parteien, gerade im linken, sozialdemokratischen, fortschrittlichen Spektrum. Wie könnte es auch anders sein. Diese bereits über viele Jahre ablaufende Zerstörungs- und Ausbeutungsorgie auf dem Kontinent Europa auch noch als „Europa“ selbst zu verkaufen passt zu den Protagonisten der paneuropäischen Ideologie. A draft proposal to combat terrorism, apparently authored by the Hungarian government and leaked in mid-January, recommends amendments to the Constitution and to several laws to streamline the process to call a state of emergency in the country. If adopted in its current form, the proposal would have profoundly negative consequences for human rights in Hungary, including the freedoms of expression, assembly, association, and movement, and the rights to privacy and security of person. The current proposal, referred to as the “sixth amendment”, devolves near absolute power on the executive in a so-called “terror threat situation,” the result of which would be a full frontal assault on human rights and the rule of law.

(6.2.2016) Something extremely dangerous is happening before our eyes as we watch British officials and the corporate media respond to today’s ruling of the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention, which found that Julian Assange is being arbitrarily detained in the UK.

A major international institution upholding the rights of political dissidents around the world as they face illegal detention, abuse and torture is being turned into a laughing stock with the enthusiastic connivance of supposedly liberal media outlets like the Guardian and the BBC.

The Guardian puts it this way:

„Since Mr Assange left Sweden in 2010 before he could be questioned and has resolutely refused to return, no such interview has taken place.“

That short sentence contains two deceptions.

Assange was interviewed in Sweden when the allegations were initially made. And he was allowed to leave the country after the first prosecutor, Eva Finne, dismissed the case, saying: “I don’t believe there is any reason to suspect that he has committed rape.”
