Update on oil export from the Kurdistan region of Iraq
The Ministry of Natural Resources is pleased to announce an increase in oil export from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Daily flow rates through the Kurdistan crude pipeline to Turkey have risen from 185,000 in August to nearly 300,000 in the first week of November, representing an increase of some 60 percent over the last four months.(…)
By the end of this year, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) plans to increase export to around 400,000 barrels per day (bpd) and to 500,000 bpd by the end of the first quarter of 2015. The KRG remains on track to meet its production target of 1 million barrels per day by end 2015/early 2016.(…)
From the cash payments, some $400 million has been used to pay both trucking costs and as part payment to the oil producers. Hence, the net cash received by the KRG during this period is $1.7 billion. In addition, the KRG has also received a further $500 million in prepayment from committed purchasers of crude against future deliveries of oil piped to Ceyhan.

Am Denkmal für Lili‘uokalani muss er aber unbeeindruckt vorbeigegangen sein, sieht man sich sein politisches Agieren gegenüber Staaten an, die nicht nach seiner Pfeife tanzen wollen.

Natürlich läuft die Meinungsmache in den Öffentlich-Rechtlichen sehr viel perfider ab, als in den Printmedien und im Privatfernsehen (Holzhammertaktik) und wird dadurch auch sehr viel schwerer durchschaubar für den in der Regel mit maximal gefährlichem Halbwissen ausgestatteten Ottonormalbürger. Dass die Art der Berichterstattung der GroKo in die Hände spielt, die bei großer Unterstützung aus der breiten Masse natürlich ganz besonders motiviert, wenn nicht sogar gezwungen ist, dieses unsägliche Gesetz durchzubringen, merken am Ende die Wenigsten… Aber genau das darf der Öffentlich-Rechtliche Rundfunk eben nicht! DAS ist bewusste Manipulation in Richtung der hierzu herrschenden Meinung in Politik (GroKo) und Wirtschaft (DB AG und BDA) und genau DAS widerspricht dem Gebot von Staatsferne und Unabhängigkeit, das für den Öffentlich-Rechtlichen Rundfunk eben gilt!
Die Reisenden aus dem eingangs erwähnten Bus haben das erkannt und werden sich hiergegen vehement zur Wehr setzen! Du/Sie auch!?!

Kauder erwägt Unterstützung der PKK

Oktober) „Ich weiß, welche Probleme die Türkei mit der PKK hat, aber zuzuschauen, wie die IS wichtige Grenzstädte einnimmt und sich immer mehr zu einer Bedrohung der weltweiten Sicherheit entwickelt, kann nicht die Lösung sein“, sagte Kauder Spiegel Online. „Die Unterstützung von weiteren Gruppen schließe ich nicht aus. Aber das ginge sicher nicht gegen die Türkei, sondern nur mit ihr. Das gilt auch für eine Unterstützung der PKK.“
Persönliche Erklärung zur Aufhebung meiner Immunität
(7. November) Gestern wurde durch den Immunitätsausschuss des Deutschen Bundestages meine Immunität aufgehoben, bzw. die Aufhebung meiner Immunität bestätigt, was es der Münchner Staatsanwaltschaft ermöglicht, gegen mich ein Ermittlungsverfahren einzuleiten.
Am 18. Oktober 2014 habe ich bei einer Kundgebung zur Solidarität mit der vom sogenannten Islamischen Staat IS umzingelten kurdischen Stadt Kobanê auf dem Rindermarkt in München eine Rede gehalten und mit den Worten geendet: „Ich fordere die Bundesregierung auf, Symbole wie diese hier nicht länger zu kriminalisieren, denn unter dieser Fahne wird in diesen Minuten ein Kampf für Freiheit, Menschenrechte und Demokratie geführt. Weg mit dem Verbot der PKK!“ Dabei habe ich die Fahne der in Deutschland verbotenen Arbeiterpartei Kurdistans, PKK, hochgehalten.
Dafür wurde ich kurz darauf von Polizei und Staatsschutz in Gewahrsam genommen, meine Personalien wurden festgestellt, die Fahne wurde beschlagnahmt. Für die weitere Ermittlung wurde gestern nun der Weg frei gemacht durch die Aufhebung der Immunität.
Peace Talks in Havana and Murder in Colombia: The Santos Regime’s Dual Strategy
There are many fabrications and false assumptions underlying the Colombia peace negotiations between the Santos regime and FARC – EP (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia – Peoples Army). The first and most egregious is that Colombia is a democracy. The second is that the Santos regime pursues policies which enhance non-violent social and political activity conducive to integrating the armed insurgency into the political system.
There is sufficient evidence to call into question both assumptions.
The Left’s Unsung Success Story
In times of crisis, a head of state who gets re-elected in the first round, having already served two terms, is a rarity indeed. One such is Evo Morales, whose win, with 61% of the vote, should have received more attention than it did. All the more so since he pulled off this electoral feat in Bolivia — which had five different presidents between 2001 and 2005. His victory follows a 25% reduction in poverty, an 87% real-terms increase in the minimum wage, a lowering of the retirement age and an annual growth rate of over 5% — all since 2006. Given how often we’re told we need to overcome our disenchantment with politics, why hasn’t this good news been more widely reported? Could it be because it stems from progressive reforms implemented by leftwing regimes?
UN Syria Special Envoy arrives in Damascus
The United Nations Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura arrived on Saturday afternoon in Damascus. This is his second visit to Syria after he took up his current assignment as the UN envoy to Syria last July.
In a press statement following his meeting with President Bashar al-Assad during his last visit to Damascus in September, De Mistura said “the terrorist threat has become a source of global worry that is shared by all,” indicating that fighting terrorism “has become a priority for us.”

Israel‘s Arab sector launches general strike following killing
CCTV security footage of the incident shows the 22-year-old man approaching a squad car and repeatedly, forcefully hitting the window with a knife. Eventually, the footage shows, the door opens. Hamdan backs off, but is shot by a police officer, who then presumably arrests him and takes him into the car. Hamdan died in the hospital several hours after the shooting.
