Mai 2011) Konkret geht es um die Ende 2001 beschlossenen und Ende 2006 verlängerten Terror-Gesetze mit fünfjähriger Laufzeit, das “Terrorismusbekämpfungsgesetz”, bzw das “Terrorismusbekämpfungsergänzungsgesetz” (TBEG). Sie entsprachen ähnlichen Sondergesetzen in allen ab 2001 kriegführenden Ländern, wie dem Patriot Act in den USA. Dort bewilligten die Abgeordneten in Repräsentantenhaus und Senat den Patriot Act, ohne ihn vorher überhaupt gelesen zu haben. Der demokratische Abgeordnete John Conyers gab gegenüber Michael Moore im Film “Fahrenheit 9/11? diesbezüglich zu, dass die Abgeordneten des US-Parlamentes die meisten Gesetze nicht lesen, über die sie abstimmen.
Das erste Pendant zum “Patriot Act” der USA in Deutschland, das “Terrorismusbekämpfungsgesetz”, wurde zeitnah mit dem Einmarsch in Afghanistan durch die Regierung von SPD und Bündnis/Die Grünen unter Kanzler Gerhard Schröder und seinem Kanzleramtsleiter Frank-Walter Steinmeier ohne viel Federlesens durch den Bundestag gewunken. Niemand klagte gegen die Sondergesetze vor dem Bundesverfassungsgericht – niemand.
Ende 2006, nach einem Psychokrieg der Behörden um zwei vermeintliche “Kofferbomben” in Nahverkehrszügen in Dortmund und Koblenz, und nachdem nach Informationen von Radio Utopie mindestens einer der angeblichen Attentäter erst nach den vermeintlichen Attentatsversuchen extra aus Syrien eingeflogen worden war, beschloss der Bundestag am 1.Dezember 2006 die Verlängerung des “Terrorismusbekämpfungsgesetzes”, sowie das “Terrorismusbekämpfungsergänzungsgesetz”.

S. Korea, U.S. to hold 2nd talks for wartime control transfer
South Korea was scheduled to regain its wartime operational command in 2015, which was handed over to the U.S.-led Allied forces after the outbreak of the 1950-53 Korean War.
