President described the package proposed by the three European countries on the nuclear deal disappointing and said: “If the process of European foreign ministers’ meeting in Vienna, which is aimed at encouraging Iran to cooperate, is promising, we will continue our cooperation with Europe”.

Dabei wies Xi Jinping darauf hin, das umfassende Abkommen über die iranische Atomfrage sei ein wichtiges Resultat des Multilateralismus und diene einer Wahrung von Frieden und Stabilität im Nahen Osten sowie dem internationalen Atomsperrsystem. So müsse es kontinuierlich und auch tatsächlich umgesetzt werden. China plädiere immer dafür, dass internationale Kontroversen und Konflikte auf friedliche Weise beigelegt werden sollen.
