Eine neue Cybersicherheitsstrategie der Bundesregierung ist da. Unternehmen und Staat sollen bei der IT-Sicherheit zusammenarbeiten, die Bevölkerung soll weg von der „digitalen Sorglosigkeit“ und sichere Verschlüsselung nutzen. Sicherheitsbehörden sollen die wiederum knacken können. Ein Widerspruch, der sich nicht auflösen lässt.
Um die Forderung nach größerem weltpolitischen Einfluss für Deutschland zu konkretisieren, verlangt Ischinger seit einiger Zeit unter anderem eine deutliche Verstärkung der Operationen der westlichen Mächte in Syrien. Man dürfe „die Anwendung militärischer Gewalt nie von vornherein kategorisch ausschließen“, erklärte Ischinger am Wochenende.

Bundeskanzlerin Merkel hat dem Gewinner der Präsidentschaftswahl in den USA, Trump, zu seinem Sieg gratuliert. Deutschland und Amerika seien durch Werte verbunden wie Demokratie, Freiheit und die Würde des Menschen. Auf der Basis dieser Werte biete sie Trump eine enge Zusammenarbeit an, so Merkel.
Die Bevölkerung hat ein Recht darauf Ernst genommen und gehört zu werden. Es geht dabei nicht um Volksentscheide, sondern echte Kommunikation auf Augenhöhe mit den Volksvertretern, Transparenz politischer Abläufe und die Übernahme von Verantwortung für politisches Handeln. Politik ist eben Überzeugungsarbeit und kein System von Befehl und Gehorsam.
