Bulgaria to Spend BGN 24 M on Providing All Citizens with State Emails

Deputy Minister of Information Technologies in charge of the electronic government, Valeri Borisov, said that the email is aimed at disciplining citizens in their communication with the state. However it remains unclear how many Bulgarians will have access to these emails and whether the elderly will be able to use them. According to figures of the National Statistical Institute (NSI) released at the end of last year, around 40 % of Bulgarians do not have access to the internet at home.

Saudi Arabia is sending troops and fighter jets to Turkey‘s Incirlik military base ahead of a possible ground invasion of Syria.

The Turkish foreign minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, confirmed the deployment in a statement to the Yeni Şafak newspaper on Saturday, days before a temporary ceasefire is due to come into force.

Genau das passierte jetzt aber im Falle der Financial Times, die Aussagen Bans zu Russlands Syrieneinsatz aus dem Zusammenhang gerissen und falsch wieder gegeben hat. Die Vereinten Nationen fordern nun eine Richtigstellung. Ein Musterbeispiel in Sachen transatlantischer Medienmanipulation.

USA predigen den medialen Vernichtungskrieg gegen Russland

Bei der jüngsten Anhörung im US-Kongress hat der Geheimdienstdirektor der USA, James Clapper, Russland vorgeworfen, einen „Informationskrieg“ gegen den Westen zu führen und ihn „diskreditieren“ zu wollen. Dabei stellte er die Gefahr, die angeblich von den russischen Medien ausgeht, potentiellen Anschlägen der Terrormiliz „Islamischer Staat“ in den USA und Europa sowie der Aufstockung des nordkoreanischen Atompotenzials gleich. Die Gefahrstufe ist extrem hoch. Womit sollen denn die russischen Medien den Chef einer solch einflussreichen Behörde so alarmiert haben?

„Turkmengaz“ selected TAPI consortium leader: at the start of the gas pipeline project

(6.8.2015) The Steering Committee on the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline unanimously approved the candidacy of the State Concern „Turkmengaz“ as the leader of the Consortium TAPI.

Today in Ashgabat 22th meeting of the Steering Committee of TAPI, which consisted of ministers of the oil and gas of Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India, took place. It was also attended by top managers of the Asian Development Bank, who are transactional advisor to the project.

The main outcome of the meeting was the unanimous election of the State Concern „Turkmengaz“ to be the leader of the Consortium Pipeline Company „TAPI Limited“. As the leader of the consortium, „Turkmengaz“ interaction will lead the construction, financing, ownership and operation of the pipeline TAPI.

Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov received Rosaria Puglisi, the new NATO liaison officer for Central Asia, said Uzbek Foreign Ministry Feb. 10.

Earlier, Alexander Vinnikov, a representative of the Netherlands, was serving as NATO liaison officer in Central Asia.

EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said at the Munich Security Conference on Friday that she would be glad to visit Iran in spring 2016, Sputnik reported.

According to Mogherini, during the visit she will be accompanied by the delegation of European Commission members for discussion of the bilateral EU-Iran relations, which have new perspectives following removal of sanctions from Tehran.
