The deeds were filmed in many videos in which soldiers, the Border Police and vehicles of the security forces can be seen all around town. For many long hours, those forces did not stop the pogrom launched by the settlers; Palestinians who have spoken with Haaretz have said that when they tried to defend their homes, soldiers fired tear gas and threw stun grenades at them.
