Aus Protest gegen das Vorgehen der spanischen Regierung haben katalanische Separatisten reihenweise Geld von den Banken abgehoben. Die Menschen folgten am Freitag einem Aufruf der Organisationen Katalanische Nationalversammlung (ANC) und Omnium Cultural und zogen Guthaben von ihren Konten bei den großen spanischen Banken ab.

Die Separatisten ließen ein Ultimatum verstreichen. Spaniens Regierung will daher am Samstag die katalanische Autonomie vorübergehend aussetzen. Barcelonas Premier fürchtet seine Verhaftung.

(17.10.2016) Sein jüngstes Anliegen: dass der Schutz von rund 190 kritischen Objekten bei hoher Gefahrenlage gleich als Kompetenz des Bundesheeres in der Verfassung festgeschrieben wird – wofür es eine Zweidrittelmehrheit im Parlament braucht. Ebenso wie für eine automatische militärische Abwehr von Gefahren aus der Luft. Die verstärkte Zusammenarbeit der Geheimdienste versteht sich da schon von selbst.

Auch sollten die in der Verfassung verankerten Freiheits- und Menschenrechte den „Kompass des Handelns“ bilden, betonte Van der Bellen.

Das Bundesheer bringt sich anlässlich des Nationalfeiertags kommende Woche in der Wiener Innenstadt in Stellung. Freitagvormittag sind bereits die ersten Panzer für die Leistungsschau angerollt.

„I was not even in Congress in 2009 when the money for the building was secured,“ the Florida Democrat said Friday on CNN‘s „New Day.“ „So that‘s a lie. How dare he. However, I named the building at the behest of (then-FBI Director James Comey) with the help of (then-House Speaker John Boehner), working across party lines. So he didn‘t tell the truth.“

I’ll end with this: In October — April, rather, of 2015, I was still on active duty, and I went to the dedication of the new FBI field office in Miami. And it was dedicated to two men who were killed in a firefight in Miami against drug traffickers in 1986 — a guy by the name of Grogan and Duke. Grogan almost retired, 53 years old; Duke, I think less than a year on the job. (Editor’s note: The F.B.I. agent for which the building is named was named Jerry L. Dove, not Duke.)

Anyways, they got in a gunfight and they were killed. Three other FBI agents were there, were wounded, and now retired. So we go down — Jim Comey gave an absolutely brilliant memorial speech to those fallen men and to all of the men and women of the FBI who serve our country so well, and law enforcement so well.

There were family members there. Some of the children that were there were three or four years old when their dads were killed on that street in Miami-Dade. Three of the men that survived the fight were there, and gave a rendition of how brave those men were and how they gave their lives.

And a congresswoman stood up, and in the long tradition of empty barrels making the most noise, stood up there and all of that and talked about how she was instrumental in getting the funding for that building, and how she took care of her constituents because she got the money, and she just called up President Obama, and on that phone call he gave the money — the $20 million — to build the building. And she sat down, and we were stunned. Stunned that she had done it. Even for someone that is that empty a barrel, we were stunned.

But, you know, none of us went to the press and criticized. None of us stood up and were appalled. We just said, O.K., fine.

So I still hope, as you write your stories, and I appeal to America, that let’s not let this maybe last thing that’s held sacred in our society — a young man, young woman going out and giving his or her life for our country — let’s try to somehow keep that sacred. But it eroded a great deal yesterday by the selfish behavior of a member of Congress.

With protection like that, it is no wonder Clinton was never worried about being indicted.

In fact, The New American reported in October 2016 that a heavily redacted FBI document from August 2015 mentions a group called “The Shadow Government” — made up “of very high-ranking STATE officials” — that was working to protect Clinton. So, Comey’s decision to protect Clinton did not happen in a vacuum. He may have been following “guidance” (if not a direct order) from those higher than him on the totem pole.

(17.10.2017) Judicial Watch revealed today that the U.S. Department of State admits it received 2,800 Huma Abedin work-related documents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that were found on her estranged husband Anthony Weiner’s personal laptop. Abedin was former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s deputy chief of staff. Weiner is a disgraced former congressman and New York mayoral candidate who recently plead guilty to transferring obscene material to a minor. Abedin kept a non-State.gov email account that she used repeatedly for government business on Hillary Clinton’s notorious email server(s).

The revelation was produced in a May 5, 2015, lawsuit Judicial Watch filed against the State Department (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:15-cv-00684))

Das US-Außenministerium hat eingestanden, dass das FBI 2.800 geheime Dokumente auf dem Laptop des Exmannes der engsten Assistentin von Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin, entdeckt hatte. Die Daten wurden an den Computer von Abedins ehemaligen Ehemannes Anthony Weiner gesendet und dort gespeichert.

Die Enthüllung ist die Folge einer Klage, die gegen das Außenministerium im Mai 2015 eingereicht wurde. Damals wurde die Forderung nach einem uneingeschränkten Zugang zu den Emails, die nicht von der offiziellen „state.gov“-Emailadresse von Abedin gesendet wurden, nicht erfüllt.

Das Bundeskriminalamt (BKA) übergab der Polizei Hamburg am 7. Juli 2017 um 14.24 Uhr eine Liste mit 82 Personen und einer kürzeren Liste als Ausdruck in Papierform; im Anschluss erfolgte durch das BKA eine elektronische Übermittlung der beiden Listen. Das geht aus einer Antwort des Hamburger Senats hervor. Eine gute Stunde später, um 15.32 Uhr, übermittelte das BKA eine weitere Liste mit 82 Personen per E-Mail an die Hamburger Polizei. Auf diesen Listen befanden sich neben den Namen von 32 Medienvertretern offenkundig auch Namen von Mitarbeitern aus dem Service oder Catering-Bereich.
