Sein Auto war an einem Wohnkomplex in Charlotte im US-Bundesstaat North Carolina geparkt, wo die Polizei gerade auf der Suche nach einem anderen Mann war. Als die Beamten eintrafen, soll er âseinen Wagen, bewaffnet mit einer Pistole, verlassen habenâ, erklĂ€rte der Polizeichef von Charlotte, Kerr Putney. Er soll zudem âlaute, klare verbale Befehleâ die Waffe fallen zu lassen, ignoriert haben, woraufhin der Polizist Brentley Vinson das Feuer eröffnete und ihn tötete.
