“US authorities have no business hauling reporters into court for doing their jobs, especially on a world story like Ferguson. We are appalled by this judicial intimidation…and call on St. Louis authorities to drop all charges immediately” against arrested journalists.
If protests continue through the week or longer, it remains to be seen how many more journalists will be brutally targeted for doing their job.

Companies like Verizon and AT&T used unlimited plans to lure customers to ditch traditional cellphones for smartphones and data plans, but have long since gotten rid of this option. Subscribers who had those plans were allowed to keep them, but often under conditions that took away things like subsidized phone upgrades. Throttling by both AT&T and Verizon also took away the incentive of keeping a plan that didn’t actually provide “unlimited” data.
Damage to fiber-optic cables is, on some level, inevitable. Cars and tricks hit poles and take out above-ground wiring from time to time. Construction projects, large and small, put equipment in the wrong place and accidentally dig up a bundle of wires instead of a shovel of dirt. And then there are the squirrels, which seem to have a taste for destruction.

Alle Staatsparteien – CDU, CSU, SPD, FDP, Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, Die Linke – lügen, kollaborieren oder verschweigen die Wahrheit vor der Öffentlichkeit. Aus Staatsmedien und Informationsindustrie strömt Militär-Propaganda.
Die Bundeswehr begann kurz darauf unter strengster Geheimhaltung mit der Verlegung von Transportflugzeugen vom Lufttransportgeschwader 62 sowie Soldaten des Fallschirmjägerbataillons 373 aus Seedorf (Niedersachsen) und des Feldjägerbataillons 252 aus Hilden auf die Insel Kreta.[4] Des Weiteren kreuzte ein Einsatzverband der Marine bestehend aus den Fregatten Brandenburg und Rheinland-Pfalz sowie dem Einsatzgruppenversorger Berlin zur Unterstützung in der Großen Syrte. Hintergrund ist der verfassungsrechtliche und im Parlamentsbeteiligungsgesetz im Einzelnen geregelte Grundsatz, dass jeder Einsatz bewaffneter Streitkräfte der Zustimmung des Deutschen Bundestages bedarf. Abgeordnete der Oppositionsparteien im Deutschen Bundestag werfen der Bundesregierung vor, das Parlament bei der Aktion unzulässig umgangen zu haben. Bei Gefahr im Verzug (GiV) bedarf es nach § 5 des Gesetzes über die parlamentarische Beteiligung bei der Entscheidung über den Einsatz bewaffneter Streitkräfte im Ausland einer nachträglichen Zustimmung, diese müsse aber unverzüglich nachgeholt werden. Die Grünen bereiten wegen der fehlenden Beteiligung des Bundestages eine Organklage gegen die Bundesregierung vor.[12]
Das Auswärtige Amt sieht die Operation Pegasus hingegen im Nachhinein nicht als bewaffneten Einsatz, sondern als „gesicherten Evakuierungseinsatz mit humanitärer Zielsetzung“, für die eine nachträgliche Zustimmung nicht notwendig sei

The Ministers call upon all Libyans to work toward a unified government that can combat the threat of transnational terrorist organizations and guarantee security and prosperity for all Libyans.
Applauding the historic importance of the Camp David summit, the Ministers vowed to continue working in collaboration to ensure peace and security in the region. They welcomed progress on urgent implementation of the full range of items agreed in the Annex to the U.S.-GCC Camp David Joint Statement, including ballistic missile defense, maritime security, cyber security, arms transfers, military preparedness, counterterrorism, and critical infrastructure protection. They agreed to continue building on the already strong foundation of military cooperation by improving coordination through joint exercises and military training.
Abe‘s ratings started dropping sharply after scholars told a parliamentary panel in June that legislation ending a ban on the military fighting overseas to defend a friendly country would violate Japan‘s post-war, pacifist constitution.

The chairman of Genie Israel, Effie Eitam, who lives in the Golan Heights settlement of Nov, is a former military commander and member of the National Religious Party. He once referred to Palestinian citizens of Israel as a “ticking bomb” causing a “cancer” in Israel. He also told The New Yorker in 2004, that Palestinians were “creatures who came out of the depths of darkness” adding that “we will have to kill them all” before backpeddling slightly: “I know it’s not very diplomatic.
