„Das Bataillon Elektronische Kampfführung 911 in Bramstedt bei Flensburg betreibt Elektronische Aufklärung als Teilbereich der Elektronischen Kampfführung.“ Dieses geschehe „zur nationalen Krisenvorsorge auf Grundlage des Artikel 87a Grundgesetz“ und diene der Lagefeststellung und Lagebeurteilung „im Rahmen des Krisenmanagements.“
