Merkel prostituiert sich für Washington

Let’s take the CIA at its word for a minute and consider the implications of this from the standpoint of oversight.

By removing the names of those the CIA had flipped while at Gitmo, the CIA permitted politically motivated people — including the guy who had a key role in “releasing” them — to call those detainees “recidivists.” While it might be great cover to have Dick Cheney screaming about what dangerous people these people were, it was lethal for Obama’s effort to close Gitmo.

By hiding the names of the double agents, the CIA also hid the true details about the actions those double agents would go on to commit. Which may have permitted CIA to use those double agents in ways that weren’t just intelligence gathering.

Jetzt ist eine Situation entstanden, in der die politischen Führer von „Swoboda“, darunter auch eine solch zweifelhafte Figur wie Oleh Tjahnybok, im Westen zu durchaus respektablen Personen wurden. Wir halten eine solche Erosion der prinzipiellen Linie der Ablehnung von jeglichen Formen des Nationalismus, der Fremdenfeindlichkeit und des Antisemitismus, deren Begleiter die ukrainische Partei „Swoboda“ ist, für gefährlich. Wir hoffen, dass die verantwortungsvollen Politiker die richtigen Schlussfolgerungen ziehen werden.

Does context make a difference? Well, yes it seems to. Only 21% of those asked in the conventional way favored U.S. involvement in the Ukraine. When this question was preceded by the questions about appeasement and comparing Putin to Hitler, support for U.S. involvement rose to 29%.

Washington, enabled by its compliant but stupid NATO puppets, is pushing the Ukrainian situation closer to war.

German Chancellor Merkel has failed her country, Europe, and world peace. Germany is the strength of the EU and NATO. Had Merkel said “No” to sanctions on Russia, that would have been the end of the crisis that Washington is brewing, a crisis unlikely to be ended short of war.

But Merkel has signed away the sovereignty of the German nation and assigned the fate of Germany to a province in the American Empire. Thus has Merkel and the weak
German leadership consigned the world to war.

In a press statement Wednesday, Ali Khafagi, formerly a member of the Revolution Youth Coalition and leading member of the Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance, accused the junta in Egypt of lying persistently.

„Al-Watan newspaper (a pro-military newspaper) announced ‚possible terrorist attacks‘ on March 19, 2014 which happens to be the day the second revolutionary wave announced by the youth against the coup is to start, supported by the National Alliance.

„This announcement reminds of the TV show-explosions that ‚coincided‘ with the first revolutionary wave in January 25, 2014. At the time, we witnessed coup forces and their hired thugs gather at the place where the explosions were supposed to be, like people gathering for a great summer picnic.“

Khafagi, who also serves as Youth Secretary at the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) in Giza, called upon the junta and their vassals to change their performance, „It seems more like a black comedy… The revolutionary men and women of Egypt are determined to defeat the putschists‘ terror with peaceful anti-coup protests, ingenuity and devotion“.
