A Shadow US Foreign Policy

The National Endowment for Democracy, a central part of Ronald Reagan’s propaganda war against the Soviet Union three decades ago, has evolved into a $100 million U.S. government-financed slush fund that generally supports a neocon agenda often at cross-purposes with the Obama administration’s foreign policy.

The U.S. has Installed a Neo-Nazi Government in Ukraine

The Western media has casually avoided to analyze the composition and ideological underpinnings of the government coalition. The word “Neo-Nazi” is a taboo. It has been excluded from the dictionary of mainstream media commentary. It will not appear in the pages of the New York Times, the Washington Post or The Independent. Journalists have been instructed not to use the term “Neo-Nazi” to designate Svoboda and the Right Sector.

Economic sanctions are an act of war

(31.10.2012) It is obvious from the tone of such statements that both President Obama and Gov. Romney pride themselves on the American policy of trade sanctions against Iran. This is perhaps because they misunderstand the basic nature of economic sanctions, thinking them a devastating blow to the Iranian state when, in reality, they are a devastating blow to an innocent civilian population.

Obama pushes Israel to stop assassinations of Iran nuclear scientists – report

Apart from pressure from Washington that Israel give up the assassination program, sources close to Israel‘s intelligence agencies told CBS News’s Dan Raviv that Mossad itself viewed the campaign as too dangerous to continue.

Russia’s UN envoy: Radical forces destabilising Ukraine must be stopped

The efforts of radical forces and the self-imposed government in Kiev to forcefully overthrow local authorities in the East are unacceptable and endanger the lives of Ukrainians and Russians, Russia’s UN envoy Vitaly Churkin told the Security Council.

“In the eastern part of Ukraine and Crimea in particular we have seen the emergence of people from Kiev with a clear intention of repeating what has been happening in the Western part of Ukraine, they want to replace regional governments,” Churkin said, adding that the Crimea authorities have asked Russia to provide assistance to ensure peace and order in the region.
