The PD and the art of lying

The government of broad agreements had already been decided on BEFORE the elections, with the blessing of the honorary PDminusL-guy, Giorgio Napolitano. No one ever asked the M5S to participate in the government, as Bersani has publicly admitted. They have taken us for a ride. They have just substituted Monti with Letta, to continue the policy of being at the service of the ECB and the financial powers. They couldn’t say that during the election campaign, nor straight away after the elections. This is why they put on the performance of asking the M5S to support the PDminusL with the help of the regime arse-covering journalists. So as not to have stones thrown at them, but they were just playing for time.

In a “transparency report” updated on Thursday, Google revealed that the United States made the largest number of requests for user information, nearly 11,000, to the company in the first six months of 2013.

The number of US requests for Google users’ data accounted for more than a third of the 25,879 requests that the company received from governments around the world, according to the report.

Between January and June 2013, the number of requests from governments worldwide was more than twice the number of similar demands in 2010, when the company published its first transparency report covering the second half of 2009, said Google.

Troika Wants Greek Defense Industry Sliced

Some defense experts said they worry that focusing on cost-effectiveness will affect Greece’s national security, and national defense will be compromised if Greece no longer has a home-grown industry.

“The defense industry in Greece, as it happens everywhere, is part of the defence and security of the country. If it vanishes, the dependency on foreign materials only increases the security problem,” retired Vice Admiral Vasilios Martzoukos told SETimes.
