How MI6, CIA spend tax money on propping up drug production

On the other hand, we apparently have MI6 and the CIA secretly bankrolling the very people in Afghanistan who produce 90 percent of the world‘s heroin. And then, of course, more scarce resources can be spent on fighting the failed ‚war on drugs,‘ and yet another pretext is used to shred our civil liberties.

This is a lucrative economic model for the burgeoning military-security complex. However, it is a lose-lose scenario for the rest of us.

The Truth Is That After Israel’s Air Strikes, We Are Involved

Let’s see if the US and the EU condemn Israel’s air attacks. I doubt it. Which would mean, if we are silent, that we approve of them. Silence, to quote Sir Thomas More, gives consent.

So now the Iranians and Hizballah are accused of intervening in Syria – true, though not to quite extent we are led to believe – and Qatar and Saudi Arabia funnel weapons to the rebels – true, but not quite enough weapons, as the Syrian rebels will tell you – and the Israelis have joined in. We are now militarily involved.

Umfragen von New York Times, Reuters, CBS, IPOS: U.S.-Bürger gegen Syrien-Invasion

There‘s „no question“ someone from Hillary Clinton‘s circle – if not the former secretary of state herself – was involved in the „cover-up“ of any missteps by the administration following an attack on a U.S. consulate last Sept. 11 in Benghazi, Libya, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., told CBS News on Monday.

Diplomat: Defense officials refused to send help to Benghazi

Hicks told congressional investigators that as the Benghazi attack unfolded in two waves over eight hours, he repeatedly called defense officials to ask if they could „scramble a fighter…or two over Benghazi“ to scare the insurgents away.

„The answer,“ he said, „was it‘s too far away…there is nothing.“

Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., who chairs the House Oversight Committee, said, „He was basically shut down and ostracized.“
