Tensions are rising in the Middle East after Iran reportedly struck three tankers in the Strait of Hormuz within 24 hours.

The US has revoked Iran‘s authorisation to produce and export oil following the attacks.

The attacks threaten to derail negotiations aimed at ending the US-Iran conflict.

They also risk collapsing a recent agreement under which Iran pledged to halt attacks in the strategic waterway.
