Mastodon bringt die lang erwartete Suchfunktion
Eine der großen Schwächen des dezentralen Mastodon war bisher, dass eine Suche nach Inhalten nur über Hashtags oder nach Personen möglich war. Bislang war es nur über Umwege möglich nach anderen Inhalten zu suchen, Nutzer:innen waren auf die Feeds beschränkt. Das machte es schwer, Debatten und Ereignissen in Echtzeit zu folgen.
Die neue Version von Mastodon bietet nun eine Suche mit erweiterten Funktionen. Beim Tippen des Suchwortes erscheinen nun weitere Möglichkeiten, um die Suche einzugrenzen und zu verfeinern. Die größte Änderung ist aber, dass man nach einzelnen Inhalten (Toots) suchen kann – und dabei noch eingrenzen kann, ob man nur Inhalte mit Bildern oder mit Links suchen will.
With Zelenskyy in town, White House still a no on ATACMS long-range missiles for Ukraine
The security package is expected to be announced later today, but White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan told reporters that President Joe Biden has “determined that he would not provide ATACMS,” referring to Army Tactical Missile Systems, “but he is also not taking it off the table in the future.”
Earlier this month ABC News reported the Biden administration was closing in on providing ATACMS, which have a range of up to 300 kilometers (186 miles), to Ukraine.
