In recent days an increasing number of reservists have announced that they will stop volunteering for duty due to the overhaul legislation, particularly the amendment repealing the reasonableness standard.

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant met Sunday with IDF Chief of Staff Herzl Halevi and other senior IDF officers to assess the effect of the protest and the reservists’ initiatives on the military.
