Lawmakers have taken the next step toward holding Bill and Hillary Clinton in contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with a subpoena to testify in the congressional Jeffrey Epstein investigation.

The Republican-controlled House Oversight Committee voted to send the effort to the full House for a vote.
