Israel has rejected Hamas messages seeking an end to the ongoing Gaza flare-up at least three times, Israeli media reported on Tuesday.

According to Channel 12, while international negotiators relayed the appropriate message to Jerusalem, it showed no appetite for a deal.

A Kan public broadcaster reporter cited Egypt‘s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry as saying that Cairo did not receive a „positive answer“ from Israel after contacts on a truce.
