13 billionaires win, 10 lose polls

Among the winning 13 billionaires, Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate Abdul Awal Mintoo, who declared assets worth Tk 607 crore, was elected from Feni-3. BNP’s Fakhruddin Ahmed, with assets worth Tk 299.42 crore, won from Mymensingh-11, while BNP-nominated candidate Jakaria Taher, who declared assets of Tk 292.20 crore, secured the Cumilla-7 seat in the elections.
