An Israeli general likened Israel’s bombing of three landmark towers in the Gaza Strip last year to the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. Speaking at the Future Forces for Homeland Security conference in Herzliya last week, Major General (ret.) Gershon Hacohen said:

“I need symbols, I’m talking about symbols. It is no simple matter. Because if I destroyed three towers in Gaza towards the end of Operation Protective Edge, and inflicted not only pain in the economic sense but also a symbol, and like the Twin Towers in New York were a symbol, what is significant is not only the physics but the significance of the matter.”

During the final two nights of the 51-day war on Gaza last summer, Israeli warplanes dropped American-supplied bombs on the Zafer Four tower, the Italian Compound, the Basha tower, and a four-story mall in Rafah. The mass destruction left hundreds of families homeless and struck a heavy blow to Gaza’s already crippled economy. These attacks were carried out when the ceasefire was imminent. The Italian Compound and Basha tower were destroyed only a few hours before the announcement of the ceasefire agreement.

(4.Oktober 2014) Rund eine Woche nach ihrem Erlass durch die Atommächte im Sicherheitsrat der Organisation der Vereinten Nationen am 24. September beginnen in Deutschland die „Experten“ Interviews über Resolution 2178 in Mr. Pink (Codename: „der Spiegel“) zu veröffentlichen.

Die nun in Mr. Pink umschriebene Dreistigkeit der Atommächte und der Organisation der Vereinten Nationen in Gesetzgebung souveräner Staaten auf dem Planeten herumpfuschen zu wollen, ist ein Aspekt bei diesem neuen imperialistischen Konsens der Atommächte, übergreifend von den Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika, der Russischen Föderation, China, etc, etc. Ein anderer Aspekt ist der Versuch jeden Staat zu autorisieren dies in jedem anderen Staat zu tun, zynischerweise angeblich „um internationalen Frieden und Sicherheit zu erhalten oder wieder herzustellen”, wie es in Artikel 39, Kapitel VII, der am 26. Juni 1945 beschlossenen Charta der Vereinten Nationen wörtlich heisst.

Wie von Radio Utopie am 22. September beschrieben, repräsentiert Resolution 2178, wenn sie denn umgesetzt würde, nichts anderes als ein Ende des Völkerrechts und einen Bruch mit der Weltordnung nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg.

The Turkish Stream is a proposed pipeline that will run from Russia to Turkey across the Black Sea, from where it will extend through Greece to southern Europe. It is expected to become operational in December 2016.

The pipeline is a substitute for the South Stream project, which Moscow canceled in December 2014, over non-constructive diplomatic and regulatory actions by the European Union.

Turkey and China will discuss the issue of building long-range missiles, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on the eve of his China visit.

He said Ankara is ready to discuss new proposals on building such missiles in the country, TRT Haber TV channel reported July 28.
