Afghanistan agrees on regional security pact with Iran

Concerned about the presence of foreign forces in the region, Iran and Afghanistan have decided to sign a joint cooperation agreement to boost “regional security” amid American efforts to force the Afghan president to seal a security pact with Washington.

Eine neuer Bericht von Andreas Müller in der STZ löst erneut die nie verstummten Rufe nach einem neuen Ermittlungsausschuss zum 30.09.2010 aus. sofort nach erscheinen entsteht auch gleich eine neue Petition an den Landtag (LINK) welche die Aufklärung der immer noch ungeklärten Fragen fordert. über 3 Jahre nach dem 30.09.2010 sind immer noch viele Punkte ungeklärt. Neue Fragen tauchen auf, stehen im Raum, werden bohrender.

Le Japon lance sa campagne de pêche à la baleine dans l‘Antarctique

Deux navires baleiniers japonais et un navire de surveillance sont partis, samedi 7 décembre, de l‘archipel nippon pour leur chasse annuelle dans l‘Antarctique. Les trois bateaux ont quitté le port de Shimonoseki (sud-ouest du pays) pour rejoindre d‘autres navires afin de prendre jusqu‘à 935 baleines de Minke de l‘Antarctique et jusqu‘à 50 rorquals communs d‘ici au mois de mars, a expliqué l‘agence de presse Kyodo.

Briton sues Microsoft over NSA data spying

Kevin Cahill has argued that Microsoft breached UK laws by allegedly obeying US government demands for data on British citizens, including metadata on emails and other communications. He has brought further actions against Google and Facebook in the UK.

UK privacy campaigners and experts heralded the case as an important step forward, and said Cahill had a strong chance of success.

UK citizen sues Microsoft over Prism private data leak to NSA

Kevin Cahill, a British journalist, has brought the case in the Lord Mayor’s and City of London County Court. The case centres on Cahill‘s belief that Microsoft breached the security of his email account.

Cahill argues that, by obeying orders that are legally binding only in the United States, Microsoft has contravened British law – the Data Protection Act in particular.

In addition, we appreciate that Yahoo! just announced several measures it plans to take to increase encryption, including the very critical encryption of data center links, and that Twitter has confirmed that it has encryption of data center links in progress.
