technical updates

A few weeks ago, we implemented some important updates and / or changes. For security reasons, we waited a little before making that public. – the 24 hours news feed has been enhanced to 40 entries. Background: we assume, that certain actors use RSS feeds to exploit the work of others, slow websites down and sabotage or infiltrate news media. If we notice such attempts, we take countermeasures. We recommend using independent resp. secure RSS readers. Examples can be found here. If you do not receive any updates via our RSS feed, go directly to our website. – we have increased the blocking duration of our crawl limiter to 1 hour. The limit remains at 15 requests per minute. – instead of using the original links of the published news items, we now use redirects to safely transport you from our website to the news source (in case you don‘t know: we use 4096 encryption). Notable effect: data scraper are having a hard time. As noted, we know stand at 250.000 entries since launching in 2010. Feel free to support us.

Note: this News Agency stands at over 250.000 news entries

personal note from Daniel Neun: As you don´t know, we started this news agency at Radio Utopie in November 2010. Since then, more than a quarter of a million of news, reports, videos, etc have been posted here – manually. No bots. No scripts. Just natural intelligence. Real work. When our 2.0 version startet in March 2018, the tag resp. keyword system was implemented (in case you haven‘t noticed yet: they are clickable and show the last few dozen entries). I won‘t go into detail how I think the world is. Just think about it – by yourself. You can do it. Just saying – we generate tons of highly encrypted traffic all around the world to thousands of users, every day. Our archive, basically a library, is freely accessible. May that make a difference, let alone a little bit of knowlegde. Consider buying us a coffee per month for that work.

back online

Due to a technical glitch on the part of our host, we experienced a little downtime. No hacking attempt involved. We‘re back online. Best regards from the bridge.

Crawl limit lowered to 15 requests per minute

Right now, you visit our website (nachrichtenagentur.radio-utopie.de) or use our RSS / Atom Feed. There has been substantional efforts of greedy little bitsuckers to sabotage our worldwide impact on public opinion – especially in times where everyone but the fascists sucks utterly. That‘s why we have a crawl limit. As we noted in March, we did set it to 10 requests per minute. Now, we lower it (in terms of effect) to 15 per minute and also the blocking period (if this limit has been exceeded): from 1 hour to 10 minutes. Consider this: Do you use one of those „oh, let us do this two-finger work of ten seconds for you“-services, who promise you this and that? Do they use the same IP adress for all of their customers? Now, if you were a little fascist scumbag, sociopath and / or working for any spy agency, databroker, deathmaker, government and so on – wouldn‘t you take the „opportunity“ to cause a little sabotage, by faking certain IP adresses, calling our website, exceeding our crawl limit and causing everyone else using this IP adress to be blocked? Well, that‘s why you should use a better feed reader to begin with. Just to mention one option. Have a nice day. Daniel

Note regarding our tags

As you might remember, we launched a new version of this news agency in March 2018. In the course of this, we created a tag system, so you could find other related articles, videos, news. Today, our news agency has 10.708 tags. And some have been used quite often. For example, 3.436 news entries have been tagged with „Mainstream / Zombie-Linke / Contras / Simulanten / mainstream / centrists / zombie left / contras / simulants“. For technical and security reasons, you can only call up the last few dozens entries of each tag (the exact number varies, from time to time). For further research, use the search function on our news site or the date-based archive, with its 219.471 entries since our start in November 2010. Best wishes from the bridge. PS: Feel free to support us a little.

How to watch the testimonies about the U.N. Report on the abominable acts by the occupying state of Israel in Palestine

Yesterday the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel published their report titled “More than a human can bear: Israel‘s systematic use of sexual, reproductive and other forms of gender-based violence since 7 October 2023″. The report was submitted to the UN Human Rights Council. The UN Human Rights Council stated in a press release, that the „release of the report was accompanied by two days of public hearings held in Geneva on 11-12 March, during which the Commission heard from victims and witnesses“. But the Council did not find the (f-word) time to link to the videos (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) on their own Youtube channel. And on top of that: they did not translate the testimonies. What the (f-word) (f-word)? Now, for all non-Arabic-speaking Earthlings: – call the video – click on „subtitles (cc)“ – click on „settings“, „Subtitles/CC (1) – Arabic (auto-generated), „Auto-translate“ – choose you language.

Note for our feed subscribers

– all single feeds for our 10.000+ tags are now deactivated. – of course, the main news feed stays operational (RSS / Atom). – you can embed our news feed on your website or into a desktop widget (embed code here). Best wishes from the bridge.

3 1/2 months of work gone West

To cut a long story short: – our hoster lost a server somewhere on a farm, shortly before an update. – hoster‘s daily backups of a week didn‘t work. – it was all coincidence. – this news agency been has been restored with a backup of May 2024. And we are supposed to be lucky. If you have the opportunity: do not use German tech or infrastructure. Just don´t do that. note: „Going south“ was yesterday. „Going west“ is the adequate formula.

We‘re back.

Unfortunately, this agency was offline in these decisive days. Technical issues, mildly spoken, are the price everyone has to pay in the free press. To everyone of us: Bonne Chance!

Note: internet boycott of Britain

On September 19, 2023, the UK House of Commons passed the so-called „online safety bill“. This law puts everyone in reach, not just in Britain, under arbitary espionage by maximum cynic dialectic excuses (abuse of power because of abuse of power).
