(16.12.2016) The U.S. intelligence community will soon disclose an estimate of the number of Americans whose electronic communications have been caught in the crosshairs of online surveillance programs intended for foreigners, U.S. lawmakers said in a letter seen by Reuters on Friday.

The estimate, requested by members of the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee, is expected to be made public as early as next month, the letter said.

“It was fishing expedition,” Clark D. Cunningham, Professor of Law and Ethics at Georgia State University told LawNewz.com, “There is nothing that comes close to probable cause that I can see. (The warrant) is more then mere speculation.”

The discovery of the emails on the disgraced New York congressman’s laptop prompted the FBI director, James Comey, to briefly reopen an investigation that he had closed over the summer into Clinton’s use of the private server to handle emails she sent and received as secretary of state.

After getting court consent to delve into the newly discovered emails on 30 October, agents spent several days analyzing them before Comey announced that they contained no new evidence of any wrongdoing by Clinton.

Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said on Tuesday that Russian experts had drawn up a „Moscow Declaration“ that amounted to a roadmap for ending the Syria crisis and that he hoped that Turkey and Iran could support the document.

(20.12.2016) Der Ständige Vertreter Syriens vor den UN, Baschar al-Dschafari, hat gestern vor dem UN-Sicherheitsrat die vollständige Namensliste der sich in Ost-Aleppo versteckenden ausländischen Militärs und Geheimagenten verlesen, darunter Geheimdienst-Offiziere aus den USA Israel, Saudi-Arabiens, Katars, Jordaniens und der Türkei. Laut Dschafari ist die Präsenz dieser ausländischen Agenten auch Grund für die „hysterischen Aktivitäten“ im UN-Sicherheitsrat zur „Evakuierung“ von Rebellen aus Ost-Aleppo.

He had taped their movement, but Al-Jazeera refused to broadcast them, which eventually led to Hashem’s resignation. In an interview Hashem said, „It was clear the protests started peacefully [this is generally agreed on], but it seems that quickly it went into militarizing. Some external factors or factions wanted the resolution to be militarized and they wanted to face al-Assad’s crackdown with weapons“

Thursday, October 2, 2014, Speaking at Harvard University, Kennedy School, Vice President Joe Biden made a dramatic confession stating that U.S. key allies in the Middle East were all behind nurturing and paying for ISIS and bringing it back to life after its demise. Biden named Saudi Arabia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Qatar as states that provided funds and arms to ISIS and other extremist groups in Syria, while he accused Turkey of allowing foreign fighters to cross the border into Syria to join ISIS ranks.

As the Syrian Army completes the liberation of Aleppo from Al-Qaeda-led terrorist groups, you would think that there would be universal celebration of a landmark defeat of international terrorism. Not so, as we are assailed with reports of Syrian-led forces committing cold-blooded executions, women committing suicide, fearing they will be raped by Syrian soldiers, people burned alive, and reports of rape against the civilian population.

The above are all unverified allegations at this stage. They are coming from the opposition militant groups themselves, groups firmly aligned with the opposition and a whole array of “activists” posting on Twitter and Facebook, some of whom are finding themselves becoming instant mainstream media hits.

The most disturbing aspect is that the mainstream media are reporting unverified allegations as fact. This is the definition of fake news.

In the annals of covert warfare, the CIA’s support for the Syrian opposition deserves a special, dark chapter.
