Russian troops captured a Ukrainian servicemember during an assault on positions near the village of Hnativka in the Pokrovsk district earlier in November 2025, according to prosecutors.
One Russian soldier reportedly tied the prisoner‘s hands while another struck him several times in the head with an automatic weapon. When the captive stopped responding, the soldiers shot him.
