Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., the son of former attorney general and 1968 presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, announced his 2024 Democratic presidential campaign at a rally in Boston. Mr. Kennedy said he was running for president because he wanted to challenge the connection between government and corporate power, press for greater economic equality, and heal the nation’s political divides.
