Israeli Defence Minister Yisrael Katz has confirmed that the peaks of Mount Hermon in Syria have been fully occupied.

In a statement, Katz described the moment as „a touching historical moment,“ recalling a visit to the Golan Heights with Prime Minister Netanyahu, where they observed the occupied peaks of Syrian Mount Hermon.
