Hundreds of Israeli protesters blocked the road outside the prime minister’s residence on Sunday (March 2) threatening to stay until the government agreed to a deal that would bring home all the remaining hostages. Israeli police set up barricades to prevent the protesters from getting too close to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s private residence as protesters lit flares and bonfires.
