BuzzFlash at Truthout has written many a time about Walmart and its contribution to the current US economic cannibalism: it hires people at the lowest possible wages, so low that many of its workers qualify for Medicaid and other government subsidies, while buying goods from overseas often made by slave wage workers who have replaced US workers when their factories were moved overseas.
