The Russian people and people abroad must remember this tragedy and courage and heroism of the Soviet people and Leningrad residents,“ the Russian leader said during a meeting with Great Patriotic War veterans.

He underscored that today people must do „everything to ensure that such tragedy won‘t happen again ever.“
