Syrians jailed for blocking ambulance carrying Al-Nusra terrorists to Israel

(25.11.2016) Amal Abu Saleh was sentenced to seven years and eight months in jail with a $3,000 fine, whilst Bashira Mahmoud was sentenced to 22 months in prison and fined $1,000 dollars.

According to SANA, Israeli forces arrested the two along with 24 others in June 2015, when residents of the village of Majdal Shams blocked the ambulance and prevented it from transporting two injured terrorists from Jabhat Fateh al-Sham, formerly known as Jabhar al-Nusra.

Wounded Syrian killed when Druze lynch mob attacks IDF ambulance

(23.6.2015) The ambulance, accompanied by a Military Police patrol car, was making its way to Kiryat Shmona when it encountered the Druze protesters near Majdal Shams, where they hurled stones at it. The ambulance managed to escape, and protesters chased it to Neve Ativ.

An IDF source said the Druze protesters were able to lay their hands on the wounded Syrians, and says the attack likely worsened their condition.

The Army Corps of Engineers said that all lands north of the Cannonball River, which is where the main Oceti Sakowin camp is located, will be closed by Dec. 5. The move is allegedly intended to “protect the general public from the violent confrontations between protesters and law enforcement officials that have occurred in this area,” while the government agency will create a “free speech zone” to replace the camp.
