(12.8.14) Uber’s Emil Michael is going back to the Pentagon, just when the Defense Department wants a little more love from Silicon Valley.
Mr. Michael, who joined the car-hailing service last September as senior vice president of business, will also become a member of Pentagon’s Defense Business Board, an advisory group tasked with sharing best practices from the private sector with an agency straining at the leash of its half-trillion dollar annual budget.
