Jacob Walles, the US Ambassador to Tunusia who visited Beji Caid Essebsi, the newly elected President of Tunusia was reportedly expelled from the Presidential Palace after conveying the US government‘s demand on building a new military base in the country.

According to Tunusian media, the US President Barrack Obama tried to reach Essebsi via phone but the President did reportedly not respond Obama‘s call.
