(7. August) Trade between China and the Portuguese-speaking countries totalled US$53,345 million between January and May of this year, rising 9.28 percent against the same period of 2013, according to official figures from China.
The figures published by Forum Macau showed that in the first five months of 2014 China sold goods to the eight Portuguese-speaking countries worth US$16.995 billion (+4.56 percent) and bought goods worth US$36.349 billion (+11.63 percent), leading o a trade deficit with the Portuguese-speaking countries of US$19.354 billion.
