Currently, Rymer’s office is investigating reports that military officers in the United States’ Central Command manipulated intelligence products about the campaign against the Islamic State. In October, the IG also opened an investigation into U.S. commanders accused of ignoring allegations of Afghan child abuse by Afghan allies of U.S. forces.
