The 2016 presidential hopeful, Senator Rand Paul, has called on former US secretary of state Hillary Clinton to retire permanently, saying she pushed the United States into a war in Libya.

“It’s time for Hillary Clinton to permanently retire,” he said during a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday.

“I believe Hillary Clinton’s abdication of responsibility, her refusal to provide adequate defense for Benghazi, her dereliction of duty should forever preclude her from high office,” he added.
