A recent poll sounding out political preferences amongst Italian voters showed the centre-left Democratic Party (PD) part to be declining in favours, the centre-right Forza Italia party substantially unchanged, and the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement (M5S) jumping in the rankings by three percentage points
