Ohio‘s Lake Erie Correctional Institution becomes the first state prison sold for $72.7 million. The nation‘s largest prison operator, Corrections Corporation of America bought the institute and will take control later this year, pending the outcome of a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the move.
