11.10am: Peston says the emails were reviewed by NI executives at the time when Clive Goodman, the former royal editor, was contesting his dismissal after being convicted of hacking. But they were not passed to the police in 2007.

11.07am: The BBC‘s Robert Peston is claiming 2007 emails show that the NoW was buying the contact details of the royal family and their family and friends from a royal protection officer.
